Omaha, NE – 1 Injured in House Fire at 28th St & Grant St

Omaha, NE (September 13, 2024) – A house fire at 28th St and Grant St resulted in one injury early Friday morning, September 13. Fire crews responded at 12:43 a.m. after a caller reported flames on the side of the house. Residents tried to extinguish the fire before firefighters arrived.

Omaha Fire Department quickly declared a working fire and brought it under control by 12:53 a.m. The blaze was successfully knocked down, preventing further damage to the property.

One person was transported to the hospital in stable condition. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the cause of the fire.
