Stevensville, MD (September 16, 2024) – A serious motorcycle accident occurred on Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Rt 8 and Thompson Creek Rd on Kent Island. Emergency responders, including medics and Maryland State Police Aviation Trooper 6, were dispatched to the scene around 2:49 p.m.
Initial reports indicated a possible trauma arrest involving the motorcyclist. EMS later confirmed the patient had a pulse, but CPR was required. A second patient also needed medical attention, and additional EMS was requested.
Trooper 6 transported one patient to Bay Bridge Airport for further treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
