Ransom County, ND (September 16, 2024) – A 63-year-old man, Monte Rodacker from Jamestown, suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash on Sunday afternoon near Fort Ransom. Rodacker was riding in a group of 300 motorcycles during a tribute run when a trike motorcycle passed him and abruptly braked to navigate a curve.
Rodacker slammed on his brakes to avoid a collision and was thrown from his motorcycle. He was transported to Lisbon hospital and later airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo. Authorities are still investigating and seeking information from witnesses.
