Bettendorf, IA (September 17, 2024) – A vehicle traveling westbound on I-74 near the 2-mile marker struck an embankment and rolled onto its side on Monday, September 16. The accident resulted in two people being transported to Genesis East Hospital with injuries. One of the injured individuals was reportedly wearing a seatbelt, which saved their life. While the second individual was not wearing one.
Emergency services, including Medic EMS, responded to the scene. The vehicle involved was towed by Fred’s Towing, and the names of the injured are pending family notification.
