Vinton, LA – Motorcyclist Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Hwy 90 Near I-10

Vinton, LA (September 19, 2024) – A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred Tuesday evening, September 17, on U.S. Highway 90 near I-10, claiming the life of 35-year-old Kelly Fox of Osyka, MS. 

Louisiana State Police reported that Fox’s 2012 Suzuki motorcycle collided with a 2019 Kia Sorento driven by Romero Chavis of Orange, TX, after the Kia turned left in front of the motorcycle. Fox, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected and died at the scene. Chavis was uninjured.

Toxicology tests were conducted on both drivers, and the crash remains under investigation by authorities.
