Merrimack, NH (October 3, 2024) – A serious accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, October 2 at the intersection of Wire Road and Bedford Road, involving three vehicles, including a motorcycle. The incident took place at approximately 2:45 p.m., prompting a swift response from Merrimack Police and Merrimack Fire and Rescue.

Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders found the motorcycle operator, identified as 36-year-old Mark McAllister of Bedford, on the ground with what appeared to be serious injuries. McAllister was operating a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle at the time of the accident. Fortunately, his injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening, and he was transported to Elliott Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

The other two vehicles involved in the collision sustained heavy damage.
