Baltimore, MD (October 21, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred in Northwest Baltimore on October 20, resulting in the death of an unidentified male pedestrian. At approximately 10:30 a.m., officers from the Baltimore City Police Department responded to the scene in the 5200 block of Park Heights Avenue after receiving reports of an accident with injuries.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the man was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by a vehicle. Fortunately, the driver remained at the scene following the incident. Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to Sinai Hospital for medical treatment; however, despite their efforts, he did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead by medical professionals.

The Baltimore Police Department’s CRASH Team is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
