Airway Heights, WA – Motorcyclist Killed in Accident on Hwy 2 near Brooks Rd

Airway Heights, WA (September 19, 2024) – A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night in a crash near Airway Heights. The accident happened when a car traveling west on Hwy 2 turned left onto Brooks Rd, colliding with a motorcycle heading east.

Washington State Patrol confirmed the motorcyclist, identified as 21-year-old Dashani M. Broomfield, was pronounced dead at the scene. Broomfield was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Authorities have not yet determined if drugs or alcohol were factors. Speed was identified as a cause of the accident.
