Arlington, TX – Motorcyclist Injured in Accident at S Watson Rd & Webb Lynn Rd

Arlington, TX (August 26, 2024) – The Arlington Police Department is investigating a deadly crash involving a motorcyclist. Kenneth Polk, 22, ran a red light at S Watson Rd and Webb Lynn Rd, striking Julie Maldonado, 43, who was critically injured. Maldonado was rushed to the hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Polk fled the scene but was quickly arrested nearby. Authorities believe he was intoxicated and may have been involved in an earlier hit-and-run incident. The investigation into the crash continues as more details emerge.
