Avondale, AZ – One Dead, Two Injured in Fiery Accident on I-10 Near Dysart Rd

Avondale, AZ (August 30, 2024) – A fiery crash on I-10 near Dysart Rd resulted in one death and two injuries early Friday, August 30. The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported that a semi-truck, a Toyota Camry, and a Corvette were involved in the crash shortly after midnight.

Both the semi-truck and the Corvette caught fire. The semi-truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the drivers of the other two vehicles were hospitalized with injuries. Authorities detained the Corvette driver, who allegedly tried to flee.
