Billings, MT (September 6, 2024) – A 52-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving an SUV on Thursday morning. Billings Police Department (BPD) responded to the scene near Central Ave and Stewart Park Rd at around 9:37 a.m. Upon arrival, responders attempted life-saving measures, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead.
Initial reports indicate the motorcyclist was traveling westbound when an eastbound SUV attempted a left turn. The motorcycle collided with the SUV. Speed is believed to be a factor.
BPD’s crash team is leading the investigation, with assistance from the Billings Fire Department and AMR. The identities of those involved have not been released. Further details will be provided as the investigation continues.
