Boise, ID – Motorcycle Rider Dies in Collision with Garbage Truck on Warm Springs Ave

Boise, ID (September 10, 2024) – A tragic incident occurred in east Boise on Monday, September 9, when a motorcycle rider died after colliding with a garbage truck. The accident happened around 12:30 PM on Warm Springs Avenue at the intersection with Millbrook Way.

According to the Boise Police Department, the motorcycle was heading west when it struck the passenger side of the northbound garbage truck. Despite immediate life-saving attempts, the rider succumbed to his injuries at the scene. No citations or charges have been issued as of now.

The Boise police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
