Boston, MA – Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Callahan Tunnel Crash

Boston, MA (September 1, 2024) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a crash in the Callahan Tunnel on Saturday night. The accident occurred just before 11 p.m. The Massachusetts State Police reported that paramedics transported the injured motorcyclist to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment.

Authorities closed the tunnel until approximately 1:30 a.m. while investigating the incident. The crash appears accidental, but the state police crash reconstruction team continues to examine the cause. Further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
