Boulder, CO – Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Arapahoe Ave and Foothills Pkwy

Boulder, CO (August 15, 2024) – A three-vehicle collision near Arapahoe Ave and Foothills Pkwy on Wednesday, August 14, resulted in three injuries. Boulder Police reported that at around 3:30 p.m., a 20-year-old SUV driver ran a red light at 48th St and Arapahoe Ave, hitting a southbound sedan. 

The SUV continued, striking a stopped Lexus, which then collided with a Tesla. The sedan driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, while the Lexus driver sustained minor injuries. The SUV driver also had minor injuries but was not hospitalized. Authorities cited him for careless driving.
