At approximately 4:48 PM, law enforcement and fire department personnel arrived at the scene to manage the situation.

Preliminary reports indicate that the crash involved three vehicles: a 2021 Jeep Wrangler, a 2021 Jeep Compass, and a 2022 GMC Terrain. The incident began when the front of the Jeep Wrangler, driven by 52-year-old Lisa L. Todd from Leasburg, MO, struck the right side of the Jeep Compass, which was being operated by 21-year-old Alina M. Robinson from Cuba, MO. The impact caused the Jeep Compass to overturn and subsequently strike the GMC Terrain, driven by 39-year-old Coty M. Sims from Pflugerville, TX.

The Jeep Compass sustained total damage and was towed from the scene by Chris and Sons Towing. Alina Robinson was transported by North Crawford Ambulance to Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan for moderate injuries. Lisa Todd, the driver of the Jeep Wrangler, sustained minor injuries and left the scene in her personal vehicle to seek medical treatment. The GMC Terrain sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
