Brainerd, MN – Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on HWY 169 at Shakopee Lk Rd

Brainerd, MN (August 12, 2024) – A motorcycle and an SUV were involved in a collision on Sunday, August 11, leading to injuries for the motorcyclist. The accident occurred on northbound Highway 169 at the Shakopee Lake Rd intersection in KATHIO TWP, Mille Lacs County. Tyler Charles Gooler, 35, from Onamia, MN, was injured as he attempted to pass a Ford Escape that was turning left, resulting in contact. Gooler was taken to Centracare St Cloud for treatment. The occupants of the Ford, Daniel and Joanna Marie Schiltz, were unharmed. Investigations by Mille Lacs Health and local authorities are ongoing.
