Brentwood, NY – One Seriously Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Express Dr S

Brentwood, NY (August 19, 2024) – Early Sunday morning, a multi-vehicle crash on Express Dr S left one person seriously injured. The accident happened around 2 a.m. on August 18, when a car collided with two parked vehicles between Washington Ave and Hudson Ave.

The injured individual was hospitalized. The driver, Edin Quiones, 20, and a passenger, Xannel Avalo, 16, were both taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A 14-year-old also received non-life-threatening injuries.

Residents have reported ongoing issues with speeding on Express Dr S. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
