Cambridge, MD – Fatal Motorcycle Accident on WB Rte 50 and Woods Rd

Cambridge, MD (August 27, 2024) – A motorcycle crash on westbound Rte 50 and Woods Rd resulted in a fatality Tuesday afternoon. The incident began around 1:04 p.m. with early activation of emergency services, including MSP Aviation Trooper 6. Responders arrived to find the motorcyclist in trauma arrest.

At 1:12 p.m., emergency personnel transported the patient to a landing zone with CPR in progress. Despite their efforts, aviation was not utilized, and the situation was declared a fatal crash by 1:40 p.m.
