Charlotte, NC – Fire Accident at 7200 Wallace Rd

Charlotte, NC (October 16, 2024) – An overnight residential fire in southeast Charlotte resulted in multiple rescues and hospitalizations. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. at a residence located near 7200 Wallace Road.

The Charlotte Fire Department (CFD) responded promptly to emergency calls regarding the fire, which escalated to a two-alarm situation. A total of 60 firefighters worked diligently to contain the blaze, successfully bringing it under control within 50 minutes.

According to CFD, eight individuals were rescued from the residence, and four of them were transported to local medical centers for evaluation. Medic confirmed that two of the transported individuals sustained serious injuries, while the other two were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
