Chattooga County, GA (September 28, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred Thursday afternoon at approximately 3:30 PM involving a head-on collision between two vehicles on Highway 27, near Sloppy Floyd Lake Road. According to reports from the Georgia State Troopers, the incident involved a 2005 Pontiac G6 and a 2011 BMW 528.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the Pontiac was traveling southbound when it crossed the center line, colliding with the northbound BMW. The impact of the crash was severe, leading to devastating consequences for those involved.
