Chippewa Falls, WI (September 18, 2024) – Twenty-five people were injured when two hay wagons pulled by a tractor overturned at Bushel and a Peck Market on Wednesday morning, September 18. The accident involved children and adults, including 4K and 5K students from St. Mark Lutheran School in Eau Claire, who were on a field trip.
Emergency responders arrived to find over 30 people affected, and 25 were transported to nearby hospitals. The exact number of children and adults injured has not been confirmed, but all children were reunited with their families.
Authorities confirmed no fatalities, and the investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing.
