Columbus, MS – Motorcycle Crash on HWY 82 at Military RD OPAS Results in Fatality

Columbus, MS (August 09, 2024) – Zaccarie Jude Liscotta, 20, died at the scene of a motorcycle accident on Thursday, August 9. The incident occurred on HWY 82 at the Military RD OPAS around 8 p.m. Authorities reported that Liscotta lost control of his Suzuki motorcycle and collided with a guardrail.

Originally from Vinton, Louisiana, Liscotta had recently relocated to Lowndes County to begin work as a crane operator at the Aluminum Dynamics site, employed by Bracken.

The Columbus Police Department continues to investigate the details of the fatal crash.
