
Concord, VA (August 29, 2024) – A motorcycle crash on Richmond Hwy near Oxford Furnace Hill led to injuries on Wednesday, August 28. Concord Volunteer Fire Department responded at 6:42 a.m. to reports of the incident. The motorcycle’s driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported for medical care.
Later, at 7:42 a.m., a tractor-trailer hit a power pole on Village Hwy, causing road blockage. Fire crews managed the scene until Virginia Department of Transportation officials arrived.
Additionally, a vehicle fire in The Spring House parking lot was swiftly contained around 8:14 a.m. No injuries were reported.
