Cumberland, MD – Leg Injury Reported in Motorcycle Accident on Bedford Rd

Cumberland, MD (September 2, 2024) – A motorcycle accident occurred on the 12800 block of Bedford Rd, resulting in a possible leg fracture. Emergency services, including units ET3, RE4, R3, and M518, were dispatched at 2:27 p.m. The accident involved a motorcycle and another vehicle, with one lane closed.

Command requested air support, and Life Net 8-1 was en route to the scene. At 2:43 p.m., responders set up a landing zone for Life Net 8-1 at Station 3. Additional EMS units, M517 and LT51, were requested for RSI support.
