Dothan, AL – Pedestrian Accident on Murphy Mill Rd Results in Injuries

Dothan, AL (August 13, 2024) – A pedestrian accident occurred Monday night, August 12, in Dothan, injuring multiple people. At approximately 9:10 p.m., Dothan 911 dispatched emergency units to the 2300 block of Murphy Mill Rd, near Dollar Tree, where a vehicle struck several pedestrians.

Initial reports to Dothan 911 indicated two victims, but later updates suggested a possible third. Dothan Fire Engine 6, Pilcher Ambulance, and Dothan Police responded to the scene. A second Pilcher Ambulance was also dispatched, initially responding non-emergency but later upgraded as the situation unfolded.
