Dothan, AL – Pedestrian Struck on Eastside, Suffers Critical Injuries

Dothan, AL (August 11, 2024) – A severe pedestrian accident occurred on Saturday, August 10, at 10:16 PM, when Dothan Fire. Engine 5, Pilcher Ambulance, and Dothan Police were dispatched to the Eastside. Initially reported with moderate injuries, the situation quickly escalated to critical.

Upon arrival, responders found a male victim who had been struck by a vehicle. He was immediately declared a trauma alert and transported to a local hospital by Pilcher Ambulance and paramedics from Engine 5.

Dothan Police are actively investigating the crash. More information is expected as the investigation continues.
