Escambia County, FL – Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Crash on U.S. Hwy 29 Near Tate School Rd

Escambia County, FL (August 15, 2024) – A 41-year-old motorcyclist from Cantonment was critically injured on Wednesday afternoon, August 14, in a crash involving a sedan near U.S. Highway 29 and Tate School Rd. The accident occurred around 12:35 PM, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The motorcyclist was traveling north on U.S. Highway 29 when it collided with a sedan driven by a 77-year-old Pensacola woman exiting to go south on U.S. 29. The impact left the motorcyclist with critical injuries, and he was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital for treatment. The sedan driver was not injured.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and will provide further details as they become available.
