Florissant, MO – Fatal Motorcycle Accident on I-270 West of Washington Ave

Florissant, MO (August 6, 2024) – Alec J. Vahle, 21, died in a motorcycle crash on Monday, August 5. The accident occurred around 8:00 PM on eastbound Interstate 270, west of Washington Ave.

Vahle, riding a 2024 Kawasaki Ninja, collided with a 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan driven by Ashley S. Hampton, 33. Vahle changed lanes, lost control, and hit Hampton’s car, causing his ejection.

Paramedics transported Vahle to SSM Health DePaul Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:37 PM. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of this tragic incident.
