Forsyth County, GA (September 10, 2024) – Julie Lamb, 72, of Dawsonville, was tragically killed Sunday night while crossing GA 400 at Jot ‘Em Down Rd. According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, a black pickup truck heading north on GA 400 struck Lamb when the traffic light turned red. Deputies reported that Lamb was walking west across the highway when she was hit. The driver could not stop in time. Lamb died at the scene from the impact. The investigation is ongoing, and no additional details have been released.
