Fort Myers, FL – Rollover Crash Injures Four at McGregor Blvd and North Town and River Drive

Fort Myers, FL (September 20, 2024) – A serious rollover crash occurred on Thursday evening at the intersection of McGregor Boulevard and North Town and River Drive, resulting in injuries to four individuals. The incident took place at approximately 8:41 p.m., prompting a swift response from emergency services.

According to reports, two males, including a 17-year-old driver, sustained serious injuries that met “Trauma Alert” criteria. Both were promptly transported to Gulf Coast Medical Center for urgent medical care. Additionally, two other occupants of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Emergency responders from Iona McGregor Fire and Lee County EMS were on the scene, with a total of four ambulances dispatched to manage the situation. As a result of the crash, all southbound lanes of McGregor Blvd were shut down to facilitate the emergency response and investigation.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
