Gillette, WY – Rollover Crash with Injuries on Wyoming 59

Gillette, WY (October 17, 2024) – A tragic rollover accident occurred on Wyoming 59, north of Gillette, resulting in one fatality and one injury. The incident took place on Sunday, October 13, around 11:31 a.m. at milepost 165.6, near the Wyoming-Montana line.

According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, 45-year-old Jeffrey Lindsey was driving a northbound GMC Sierra when he veered off the right side of the highway. In an attempt to correct the vehicle’s path, he overcorrected, which caused the truck to slide off the left side of the highway and roll over twice. Unfortunately, Lindsey was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and died from his injuries at the scene. His passenger also sustained injuries, although the extent of those injuries has not been disclosed.
