Glen Gardner, NJ (August 26, 2024) – Ten children and one adult sustained minor injuries in a school bus accident on Sunday, August 25. The crash occurred around 3:10 p.m. on the southbound lanes of Rte 31 near milepost 37.5.
New Jersey State Police reported that the bus driver lost control, veered off the highway, struck a mailbox, and ended up in a ditch. The bus was carrying students as part of a camp program, but the company name was not disclosed.
No charges have been filed against the driver. Authorities are investigating the crash and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
