Glendale, AZ – Life-Threatening Injuries in Red Light Crash at 51st Ave and Peoria Ave

Glendale, AZ (August 27, 2024) – A serious crash in Glendale left one person with life-threatening injuries late Monday night. The collision happened at the intersection of 51st Ave and Peoria Ave when a vehicle driving west on Peoria Ave ran a red light. This vehicle struck another car traveling southbound through a green light on 51st Ave, which then collided with a third car stopped at the eastbound red light.

Emergency responders rushed one individual from the second vehicle to the hospital with critical injuries.

Authorities reported no signs of impairment in the drivers involved. The investigation into the crash is still underway, and more details are expected as it continues.
