Goodyear, AZ (August 22, 2024) – Two people were hospitalized following an ATV collision with a semi-truck late Wednesday night. The crash occurred around 11 p.m. on MC-85 near Bullard Ave.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), the ATV struck the cab of the semi-truck. The two adults on the ATV sustained injuries; one had serious injuries, and the other’s injuries were life-threatening. Neither rider was wearing a helmet.
The semi-truck driver was unharmed. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and are expected to release more details as the inquiry progresses.
