Grant County, IN (August 30, 2024) – A rollover accident on I-69 southbound near the 255-mile marker on Thursday, August 29, injured three people. One person was possibly ejected, while two others were hurt. Emergency responders were initially requested to airlift a victim but later canceled the helicopter.
One injured individual was transported to IU Ball Memorial Hospital, while others declined treatment. The Indiana State Police and Indot were on scene to repair a hole in the roadway, causing traffic diversions at St Rd 26.
The road reopened at 1:55 p.m. Authorities are investigating the incident and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
