Greenville, SC – Motorcyclist Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-85 N Near Pelham Rd Exit

Greenville, SC (August 29, 2024) – A motorcyclist, Travis Emil Jones, 50, of Wellford, died in a multi-vehicle crash on Wednesday night. The accident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on I-85 North near the Pelham Rd exit. Jones’s motorcycle collided with a dump truck, and then five other vehicles struck the motorcycle.

Authorities reported no additional injuries. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash and any contributing factors. The investigation into this tragic incident is ongoing.
