Groton, CT – Entrapment in Tractor Trailer Rollover on I-95 NB

Groton, CT (August 6, 2024) – A severe tractor trailer rollover on I-95 Northbound between exits 89 and 90 led to entrapment early Tuesday morning, August 6. The accident occurred at 4:22 AM, prompting an emergency response from Mystic River authorities and the Poquonnock Bridge Fire Department.

Rescue operations were immediately launched to assist the trapped individual. The section of the interstate was closed to facilitate the emergency response and investigation.
