Humboldt, IA – Fatal Car/Motorcycle Accident at Lincoln Ave and Highway 169

Humboldt, IA (September 23, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred on Sunday evening, September 22, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist in Humboldt County. The Iowa State Patrol reported that the crash took place around 8:12 p.m. at the intersection of 1731 Lincoln Avenue and Highway 169.

According to authorities, a 2017 Toyota, driven by 56-year-old Reggie Clark of Humboldt, was traveling northbound on Highway 169 when it pulled into the left lane to make a turn onto Lincoln Avenue. In doing so, the vehicle struck a southbound 2000 Suzuki Sports Bike, which was being operated by Anglea Zeigler, also from Humboldt.

The impact of the collision was severe, and unfortunately, Anglea Zeigler was pronounced dead at the scene. The Iowa State Patrol is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
