Jackson, MS – Pedestrian Crash at 6th St and San Jacinto Ave Results in Fatality

Jackson, MS (August 02, 2024) – John Jordan, aged 74, tragically passed away following a pedestrian collision on Friday, August 02. The incident occurred at the junction of 6th St and San Jacinto Ave two weeks ago. The Riverside County Fire Department reports a vehicle hit Jordan around 8:33 p.m.

The circumstances of the crash remain unclear. After the incident, paramedics rushed Jordan to Riverside University Health Systems Medical Center. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
