Jacksonville, FL – Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Merrill Rd

Jacksonville, FL (September 2, 2024) – A man died following a motorcycle crash on Merrill Rd Sunday, September 1. The crash occurred at 2:30 p.m. when a GMC Sierra driver merged from the I-295 northbound exit ramp onto Merrill Rd and collided with a Harley Davidson. The impact threw both riders, a man and a woman in their 50s, onto the pavement.

The man later died at the hospital, while the woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Police confirm both riders wore helmets. Authorities are investigating the accident; more information is expected as the investigation continues.
