Jerome, ID (September 10, 2024) – A rollover accident on West Main Street’s Exit 165 overpass over Interstate 84 resulted in injuries and a DUI charge early Tuesday morning, September 10. The crash occurred around 6:45 AM, involving a black Jeep with a male adult and a juvenile onboard.
Chief Deputy Gary Taylor reported that both occupants sustained minor cuts and bruises but were not ejected from the vehicle. Following a blood draw at the hospital, the driver was charged with driving under the influence.
The vehicle was removed and the roadway cleared by 8:54 AM. Multiple emergency services, including Jerome’s police, fire departments, and life flight crews, responded to the incident. The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
