
Kansas City, MO (August 19, 2024) – A multi-car collision occurred on westbound K-10 Highway, near mile marker 20, at 1:53 a.m. on Sunday, August 18. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reports eight people were involved.
A 20-year-old Shawnee man driving a Chrysler 300 rear-ended a Lexus IS. Which had a 37-year-old driver and a 19-year-old passenger. Shortly after, a 20-year-old woman driving a Honda Accord struck the stopped Chrysler. The Honda had four passengers, including a 19-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman who were hospitalized in Overland Park.
Authorities are investigating the crash, with both the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department and the Eudora Police Department assisting. Updates will follow as the investigation progresses.
