Kent County, MI (August 13, 2024) – A motorcyclist died in a crash on Monday, August 12, around 8:50 p.m. at the intersection of Alpine Ave NW and Four Mile Rd. The incident occurred shortly after the motorcyclist had contact with police in a nearby parking lot regarding an unregistered motorcycle.
After leaving the scene at high speed, the motorcyclist collided with a southbound car that was turning. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the car’s driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
