Lafayette, MO (August 18, 2024) – Jack W. Geeslin, 38, suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash on Saturday, August 17. The incident occurred on US 65, east of County Rd 403, around 12:20 p.m. Geeslin was driving a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle when a bird struck him, causing him to lose control.
His motorcycle crossed the centerline, colliding with a 2018 Chevrolet Cruz driven by Harley G. Collette, 36, of Maysville, MO. Geeslin’s motorcycle then veered off the road and overturned. Emergency responders transported Geeslin to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
