Lexington Park, MD – Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Accident on Great Mills Rd

Lexington Park, MD (August 13, 2024) – A serious accident involving a car and a motorcycle occurred on Monday night, August 12, leaving a motorcyclist with critical injuries. The incident happened at 9:08 p.m. in the 21700 block of Great Mills Rd, near the Family Dollar.

Emergency responders arrived quickly and found the motorcyclist in critical condition. Due to the severity of the injuries, a medical helicopter was dispatched to transport the patient to the Maryland State Police Aviation Command hangar, where Trooper 2 awaited to transfer the injured rider to the Capital Regional Trauma Center.
