Lisbon, OH (August 30, 2024) – A motorcycle rider was critically injured on Thursday, August 29, in a crash on Mountz Rd near Rte 9 in Hanover Township. The 26-year-old man was traveling west when he collided head-on with a Jeep. The impact threw him from his motorcycle. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
Emergency responders airlifted the injured man to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. The Jeep driver was not injured.
