Lumberton, NC – Robeson County Deputy Injured in Motorcycle Crash at Hilly Branch Rd & S J Rd

Lumberton, NC (August 21, 2024) – Deputy Amanda Velez suffered severe injuries in a motorcycle crash on Tuesday, August 20. The collision occurred just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Hilly Branch Rd and S J Rd. Velez, the motorcycle operator, was found in critical condition and transported to a medical center for urgent care. No updates are available on her condition.
