Marshall, WA – Motorcyclist Killed in Accident on S Spotted Rd and W Melville Rd

Marshall, WA (September 4, 2024) – A motorcyclist died following a crash with a car near Marshall, WA, late Monday afternoon. Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene at S Spotted Rd and W Melville Rd. Spokane County Fire District 3 firefighters provided aid, but the motorcyclist was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

A woman driving a Nissan Sentra turned left across the northbound lane, colliding with the motorcyclist, who attempted to brake but struck the car’s passenger side. The Nissan’s driver and passenger sustained cuts and scrapes. Authorities noted failure to yield may have caused the crash.

The Spokane County Medical Examiner will release the motorcyclist’s identity and further details when available.
