Milford, CT – 65-Year-Old Moped Rider Killed in Accident on Boston Post Rd Near Locust St

Milford, CT (August 14, 2024) – A fatal accident occurred Tuesday afternoon, August 13, on Boston Post Rd in Milford, claiming the life of 65-year-old Brian McGrory. The crash happened around 2:05 p.m. near Locust St. According to the Milford Police Department Traffic Division.

A preliminary investigation revealed that McGrory was riding an Asceno R2/50 moped when he was struck by a vehicle traveling east on Boston Post Rd. McGrory was transported to Bridgeport Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The road was temporarily closed but has since reopened. No additional details have been released. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
