Mobile, AL – Injuries in School Bus Accident on Snow Rd Near Wedgefield Dr

Mobile, AL (August 14, 2024) – A two-vehicle accident involving a school bus took place around 3:23 p.m. today on Snow Rd near Wedgefield Dr in west Mobile County. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), a 2006 Ford F150 collided with a Mobile County Public School System bus.

The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries and was transported to Providence Hospital. The bus driver also suffered injuries and received treatment at the USA Freestanding Emergency Department. While four students were taken to local hospitals for assessment, no serious injuries were reported among the children on the bus.

Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are currently investigating the crash. Authorities will release further updates as more details emerge and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
